We won the Wedding Wire Brides Choice Award!

Weddings, Wedding Venues
2012 Bride's Choice Awards | Best Wedding Photographers, Wedding Dresses, Wedding Cakes, Wedding Florists, Wedding Planners

This means we are in the top 5% of Wedding Pros nationwide! The WeddingWire Bride’s Choice Awards™ recognizes the top local wedding professionals from the WeddingWire Network that demonstrate excellence in quality, service, responsiveness and professionalism. Unlike other awards in which winners are selected by the organization, the WeddingWire Bride’s Choice Awards™ are determined solely by the reviews from over 1.2 million newlyweds.

I’d like to personally thank all of the brides and couples that took the time to post a comment about their experience with me. No form of recognition is as valuable to us as the word-of-mouth recommendation of a satisfied client. No award means as much as knowing that you love the images that I pour my heart and soul into. Thank you. You Rock!

Scott

The BIG 50

A huge congratulations going out to my parents Jerry and Trudy  Jones who are currently celebrating their 50th (that’s right, 50th) wedding anniversary today. Love you guys!!!

Connie & Christopher – December 23, 2011 – Bella Sera Trattoria

Connie Baker and Christopher Pastorius exchanged vows on the eve of Christmas Eve at Bella Sera in Canonsburg. Even with his upcoming schedule, Santa managed the time to make a pre-holiday appearance. Here are a few images…

Jessica & Michael – December 17th, 2011

Jessica Stark wed Michael Gorfti on this snowy December Saturday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Monroeville, Pennsylvania. The ceremony was preformed by Father Anthony Gargotta. The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father Joe and grandfather Herb.

Following the ceremony the couple celebrated with family and friends at the Monroeville Doubletree where Kimmie Fitzhugh-Kelly and her staff had set the room beautifully for a winter wedding.

Lea’s Floral provided the flower arrangements for the event. The brides gown was from The Exquisite BrideOakmont Bakery provided the wedding cake.

Craig Lawrence, my buddy from Red Hot Chameleon Entertainment, rocked the event – like he always does!

It was also great to meet and work with Gordon Schu Video Productions.

Congratulations to the newlyweds!  Here are a few images to enjoy!

PDN PhotoPlus Expo – NYC

I spent this week in New York City attending the PDN Photoplus Expo at the Javitz Center. Always a great time to network with other photographers from around the country and reconnect.

I’m very excited about some of the new ideas and product offerings that were announced by many of our fantastic vendors. Our top line album vendor, Graphistudio, has some great new upgrades to their already “Best-in-the-industry” hand made Italian albums that we are very excited about.

Here is a photo shot from Weehawken Park in New Jersey. I managed to get a few shots of the city in before the Nor’easter blew in.

That park has a great view across the river, doesn’t it? I have a print of a similar shot from that very park up in my office (hand-held, 1/3 sec exposure with IS lens helping out).

Lovely image. Reminds me of days when I went to that show and stayed in Weehawken.
